Since 1642 · Kingsbrook, Oxfordshire
Welcome to the Fox & Furrow
For nearly four hundred years this has been where Kingsbrook meets: drovers on the road to Chipping Norton, ringers after practice, walkers off the Oxfordshire Way and families on a Sunday.
We took the keys in 2009 and kept everything that mattered: the flagstones, the fire, the snug and the Hooky. Then we added a kitchen that cooks from the farms around us and six rooms upstairs.

Quiz nights, folk & long suppers
Tuesday quiz night
Teams of up to six. Picture round, music round and a jackpot that rolls over. Book a table to be sure of a seat.

Head chef
“I cook what I’d want after a long walk: proper gravy, a good crust and something green from down the road.”
Sam Okafor
Sam trained at the Feathered Nest and the Wild Rabbit before coming home to Oxfordshire. He runs a kitchen of five and still butchers every carcass himself.

An orchard garden with festoon lights and a fire pit, water bowls by the door and the Oxfordshire Way at the gate. Muddy boots and four legs are always welcome.
