Staying with us

Opening hours

Breakfast, boots & the walk from the door

Everything you need to know about a night at the Fox, from check-in to the best footpath to the next village pub.

In the morning

A proper breakfast

Served 8 to 10.30am in the dining room by the fire: the full Fox, eggs Benedict, Craster kippers or Jersey-cream porridge with Kingsbrook honey.

Leaving early for a walk? Ask the night before and we’ll leave a flask of coffee and bacon rolls at the bar.

On foot

Walks from the garden gate

The Oxfordshire Way runs past the pub. We print three loops for guests: forty minutes round the green, two hours to Bledington and back, or nine miles via two other pubs.

Muddy boots are welcome in the bar, and there’s a boot rack and hose by the back door.
